The Mid Earth Story

Mid Earth was born when two young nature enthusiasts, Surendra Desai and Avirat Shete, recognised a growing disconnect between people and the wild — a time when travel was increasing but true understanding was not, safaris had become checklists, forests were reduced to weekend escapes, and conservation often ended with a caption. They believed travel could do more: that nature could be experienced with genuine curiosity, exploration could lead to awareness, and every journey could inspire responsible action. With this purpose, Mid Earth came to life as a platform dedicated to creating immersive wildlife and nature experiences that educate, connect, and inspire. From offbeat trails to deep-forest expeditions, every journey we design follows a simple philosophy — explore deeply, learn consciously, and conserve responsibly. Today, Mid Earth is a growing community of explorers who want their travel to mean something, choosing connection over consumption and understanding over observation.

WHY MID EARTH

Meaningful Exploration. Responsible Travel.

At Mid Earth, we believe that nature deserves more than surface-level travel. Our journeys are designed to create deeper connections with the wild — combining field knowledge, safety-first execution, and a strong conservation ethic.
We don’t just take you into nature; we help you understand it, respect it, and become a responsible part of it.

Field Expertise & Naturalist-Led Experiences

Every trek, safari, and nature experience is led by trained naturalists and outdoor professionals who bring ecosystems, wildlife behaviour, and landscapes to life through real field knowledge.

Safety at the Core

Our operations follow a zero-accident mindset, backed by certified leaders, emergency-response training, and well-defined safety protocols — so you can explore with confidence.

Discovery Beyond the Crowd

We focus on offbeat trails and lesser-explored habitats. Smaller groups, slower pacing, and thoughtful itineraries ensure authentic experiences without rushing or overcrowding the wild.

Conservation-Driven Travel

Responsible practices guide everything we do — from waste management and ethical wildlife viewing to community engagement and awareness initiatives that support long-term conservation.
