Kanha Wildlife Tour
About
Together with a surrounding buffer zone of 1,067 km2 (412 sq mi) and the neighboring 110 km2 (42 sq mi) Phen Sanctuary, Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the biggest in the country. Kanha is one the best managed tiger reserve in our country. The park has a vast expanse of grassland and forest cover.
Kanha is a wildlife paradise hosting big cats like leopard and tiger and ferocious predators like wild dogs and jackals. It also has good population of birds and is a photographer’s dream land. It is an ideal home for Barasingha and the countless species of plants, birds, reptiles and insects.
This reserve has fascinated many travelers around the corners of the world with its well-developed infrastructure specially meant for them.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nagpur – Kanha
Assemble in Nagpur at 9:30am. Depart for Kanha in our vehicles (6 hours). Have lunch enroute. Check in at hotel and freshen up. Assemble for an orientation session in the evening. Overnight at hotel. [L, D]
Day 2: Kanha
Morning and evening safaris in the park. Overnight at hotel. [B, L, D]
Day 3: Kanha
Morning and evening safaris in the park. Overnight at hotel. [B, L, D]
Day 4: Kanha – Nagpur
Morning safari in the park. Return to hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast check out and transfer to Nagpur. (6 hours by road). Have lunch enroute. Reach Nagpur by 5:30pm. [B, L]
