About
Though lesser visited as compared to any other Tiger reserve of Central India, Nawegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve has an equally amazing bio-diversity along with the scenic landscapes that add to the beauty of the forest. Nagzira is known to those who are familiar with Marathi literature because of several articles, books written by eminent Marathi writer, nature-lover- Vyankatesh Madkulkar, naturalist- Maruti Chitampalli and conservationist Kiran Purandare who have penned several experiences they had during their stay here for years.
Not just tigers, but all other 33 mammal species, variety of avifauna, reptiles all together make this forest a ‘must visit’ place for those who wish to explore the “less explored”.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nagpur – Nagzira
Arrive at Nagpur before 09:30am. Pickups will be arranged from Railway station and Airport. Transfer to Nagzira by road in our AC vehicles. Breakfast enroute. Check in at FDCM guest house. Freshen up and have lunch. Post lunch, go for the evening safari in the forest. Overnight in Nagzira. [B,L,D]
Day 2: Nagzira
Go for an early morning safari in the park. Return to guest house for breakfast. Freshen up and have lunch. After lunch go for evening safari in the park. Overnight in Nagzira.
Day 3: Nagzira – Nagpur – Pune
Go for an early morning safari in the park. Return to guest house for breakfast and checkout. Post checkout explore the village and understand the unique lifestyle of locals and get a chance to interact with Mr. Kiran Purandare – Famous ornithologist and conservationist. Have lunch and leave for Nagpur. Drops at Nagpur railway station and airport by 05:30 pm. Tour ends.

- 2 nights accommodation in a forest department guesthouse on twin/triple sharing basis.
- 4 safaris in Nagzira.

- Camera charges for safaris. (approx. Rs, 250 per camera per safari)
